What’s for dinner? Spin and find out
The hardest part of dinner is often deciding what to make. The dinner wheel picks for you, so you can spend your energy on cooking instead. Choose a list, spin, and start chopping.
- Easy weeknight: quick meals like tacos, stir-fry, sheet-pan chicken and breakfast for dinner.
- Family favorites: lasagna, homemade pizza, meatloaf and other meals kids actually eat.
- Cook or order in: for nights when the real question is whether anyone is cooking at all.
- Meatless: curry, black bean burgers, risotto and more vegetarian dinners.
- One-pot & slow cooker: chili, stew, curry and soups with fewer dishes to wash.
- Pick a protein: spin for chicken, beef, salmon, tofu and more, then build a meal around it.
Plan a whole week in seven spins
- Load your list. Use a ready-made one or type the dinners your household likes.
- Spin for Monday. When the result pops up, choose Remove from wheel so it can’t come up again this week.
- Keep going for each night. The Results tab lists every pick in order.
- Shop once. Copy the list from the Results tab into your grocery notes.
Tip: Add “Leftovers” and “Wild card” to your list. Leftovers saves a night of cooking, and wild card means you try a brand-new recipe.
Two-spin dinners
Feeling creative? Spin Pick a protein first, then switch to Easy weeknight or One-pot and spin again. Chicken plus chili becomes white chicken chili. Salmon plus tacos becomes fish tacos. It’s a fun way to get out of a rut.
Let the kids spin
Kids are more likely to eat dinner they “picked.” Let them spin on Family favorites, and turn on Weights if you want to give the vegetable-heavy meals a bigger slice. Nobody has to know.
