Spin the NBA wheel

Spin for a random NBA player. Use it to draft a fantasy team, start a debate, or set a challenge in a basketball video game. There are four lists:

  • Stars: 20 of the league’s biggest names right now.
  • Top 50: a wider list of the best players for the 2026–27 season.
  • Young stars: rising players like Victor Wembanyama, Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper.
  • Legends: all-time greats like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson and Bill Russell.

Games to play with the wheel

Draft night. Take turns spinning the Top 50 list with Remove from wheel on. Each player drafts a starting five. Argue about who’d win.

Legends vs. today. One person spins Legends, the other spins Stars. Debate who wins one-on-one.

2K challenge. Spin a player and play your next game using only that player’s team.

Starting five. Spin five players and pick your starting lineup. Then spin again and see if you can beat it.

Tip: For a fair draft, spin the order first using pick a number, then let everyone spin for their players.

About the lists

The lists are names only, because players move teams often. They’re a snapshot of the 2026–27 season and will be refreshed as the league changes. Player names are used only so you can pick between them; this wheel isn’t connected to the NBA or any team. For teams instead of players, try the NBA team wheel.

Questions people ask

Which players are on the NBA player wheel?

Four lists: 20 current stars, a top 50 based on widely shared 2026–27 rankings, 16 young stars, and 16 all-time legends.

Why aren't teams listed next to the players?

Players change teams through trades and free agency, sometimes several times a season. Names only keeps the wheel accurate.

Can I add my own players?

Yes. Replace the list with any players you like, one per line, like your favorite team's roster.
