Why a wheel instead of a list?
A plain random generator just prints an answer. A wheel lets everyone watch the pick happen, which makes it more fun in a class or a group, and harder to argue with. You can also see every option before you spin and edit the list in seconds.
Tip: Combine generators for writing prompts: a random animal, a random year and a random city make a surprisingly good story starter.
Looking for numbers? Those are in the classroom wheels.
