How to play truth or dare with the wheel
- Pick a list: Party, Teens or Kids. Each has its own truths and dares.
- Spin. The wheel lands on Truth or Dare.
- Read the prompt. A random question or dare appears right under the result. Answer honestly, or do the dare.
- Pass the phone, or tap Done and spin for the next player.
That’s it. No cards to shuffle and no arguing over who made up the dare.
Three ready-made sets
| List | Truths | Dares | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Party | 30 | 30 | Game nights, birthdays, hangouts |
| Teens | 25 | 25 | Sleepovers, youth groups, school trips |
| Kids | 25 | 25 | Family parties, classrooms, younger kids |
All three are clean. The dares are things like talking like a pirate, a runway walk or an impression, not anything risky. Every question has been written to be fun to answer, not to embarrass anyone too much.
Tip: Want more suspense? Turn on Keep the result hidden until I reveal it in Settings. The player taps Reveal to see whether they got a truth or a dare.
Write your own prompts
Inside jokes make the best dares. Switch the editor to the list view (the button with lines, under the entries) and click the speech bubble next to Truth or Dare. A box opens with every prompt, one per line. Add yours, delete the ones that don’t fit your group, and the wheel uses your list from the next spin. You can even add a third slice, like Your choice, and give it its own prompts.
House rules that keep it fun
- One skip each. Anyone can pass once per game, no questions asked.
- No double dares. If the wheel lands on Dare twice in a row for the same player, they can switch to Truth.
- Keep it kind. Truths are for laughs, not for putting someone on the spot.
- Stay safe. Nothing that could hurt someone or break something.
Other party wheels
Want dares only? Try the dare wheel. Need to pick the next player? Use spin the bottle. For calmer questions, the conversation wheel has would you rather and never have I ever.
