Spin for a movie
Spending longer scrolling than watching? Spin the movie wheel. Pick a list, spin, and press play on whatever it lands on. There are six ready-made lists:
- Genres: fourteen genres, from action to westerns. Spin a genre, then pick a movie in it.
- Family movie night: twelve family-friendly favorites for all ages.
- Disney & Pixar: sixteen animated classics.
- Horror: twelve well-known horror movies, from classics to modern hits.
- Holiday movies: twelve December favorites.
- Pick a decade: spin for the 1970s to the 2020s, then pick a movie from that era.
Your watchlist on a wheel
The best list is your own. Paste the movies you keep meaning to watch, one per line, and spin. It works for anything you’ve been putting off: a box set, a director’s films, every movie in a series, or the stack of DVDs on the shelf.
Tip: Two people with different tastes? Each adds five movies. Turn on Weights if one of you won last week, and give the other person’s picks a slightly bigger slice.
Movie night games
- Genre roulette: spin the Genres list, then everyone has thirty seconds to suggest a movie in that genre. Spin the suggestions for the winner.
- Decade challenge: spin a decade and only watch movies from it for a month.
- Horror marathon: spin the Horror list for every film of the night. Remove each one after you watch it.
- Kids’ pick: let the youngest person spin on Family movie night.
