Spin for a hairstyle
Spin and the wheel picks a hairstyle. Use it to design a character, plan a costume, or shake up your everyday look. There are five lists:
- Everyday styles: ponytails, messy buns, space buns, curtain bangs, beach waves.
- Lengths: a hair length wheel from buzz cut to hip length.
- Braids: French, Dutch, fishtail, box braids, crown braid and more.
- Short cuts: undercut, fade, quiff, shag, mullet, French crop.
- Character hair: spiky, twin tails, hime cut, wolf cut, bangs over one eye.
For drawing characters
Hair says a lot about a character. Spin a style from Character hair, then add a color from the hair color wheel. A spiky, ice-blue look tells a very different story than a long, chestnut braid.
Tip: Practicing drawing hair? Spin a new style every day and sketch it from three angles: front, side and back.
Try something new
Bored of the same ponytail? Spin the Everyday styles list each morning and try whatever it lands on. For braids, spin the Braids list and follow a tutorial for that style.
Games and sleepovers
- Hair salon game: kids spin a style and recreate it on a doll or a friend.
- Costume party: spin a hairstyle to match your aesthetic.
- Makeover roulette: spin hair, color and an outfit style for a full makeover challenge.
