Spin for a random NBA team
The wheel holds all 30 NBA teams, each in its team color. Spin and it lands on one at random. The lists above the entries let you narrow it down:
- All 30 teams
- Eastern or Western Conference, 15 teams each
- A single division: Atlantic, Central, Southeast, Northwest, Pacific or Southwest
You can also edit the list. Add WNBA or college teams, take out teams you’ve already played with, or replace it all with names.
Ways to use the NBA wheel
NBA 2K random team challenge. Spin for your team, spin for your opponent, and play it out. Remove each team after you’ve played it to work through the whole league.
MyLeague and franchise mode. Let the wheel choose the team you rebuild next.
Fantasy basketball. Use it for draft order, random trade partners, or to settle a tie in your league.
Bracket challenges. Pick a random team to root for in the playoffs, or assign teams to everyone in a group.
Watch nights. Can’t agree on which game to put on? Put the teams playing tonight on the wheel and spin.
Trivia. Spin a team and name its arena, its best player, or how many championships it has won.

A fair spin every time
Every team has the same chance on each spin. The result is picked by your browser’s secure random number generator before the wheel turns, so the spin can’t be timed or gamed. Every result is saved in the Results tab, and Scores shows which teams have come up most.
