Spin for a 1, 2 or 3
Three options is where coins stop working. Number your choices, spin, and the wheel picks one with perfectly even odds. Each number gets a third of the wheel.
Three-way decisions
- Three restaurants: write them down as 1, 2 and 3 and spin.
- Three chores: dishes, trash or laundry. Everyone spins for one.
- Three movies: shortlist the three you can’t decide between and let the wheel pick.
- Three routes: take the highway, the back roads or the scenic way.
Turn order for three players
Spin once and choose Remove from wheel when the result pops up. Whoever has that number goes first. Spin again for second. The last number left goes third, no spin needed. Click the link under the fields to put all three numbers back for the next game.
Tip: Playing a game with a first-player advantage? Spin a new order every round so nobody stays in the lead seat.
Why not rock, paper, scissors?
Rock, paper, scissors with three people ends in a lot of ties. A spin settles it in one go, and nobody can claim someone threw late.
Even odds, every spin
The wheel picks its number with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator before the spin starts, then the animation lands on it. One in three, every time, no matter what came up before. For two options use 1 or 2, and for four use 1 to 4.
