Pick a number from 1 to 50
Spin for a number from 1 to 50. Each one has exactly a 2% chance. Fifty is a common raffle size, a large class or a full team roster.
Raffles and giveaways
- Number your tickets or entries from 1 to 50.
- Spin. The number under the pointer when the wheel stops is the winner.
- Choose Remove from wheel before the next draw so the same ticket can’t win twice.
- Keep the Results tab as a record of every draw, with times.
Tip: Didn’t sell all fifty tickets? Change To to the last ticket number you sold, or type the unsold numbers into Leave out.
50 states
The US has fifty states, so 1 to 50 is a handy range for geography games. Number the states alphabetically, from Alabama to Wyoming, and spin. Or skip the numbering and use the random state generator, which puts every state name on the wheel and can narrow it to one region.
Classrooms and teams
- Student numbers: spin for the next student to answer, from a big class or a whole grade.
- Practice questions: fifty review questions? Spin for which one to tackle next.
- Jersey numbers: spin a number for each new player.
- Lottery-style games: spin a few numbers in a row with Remove from wheel to pick a set of numbers with no repeats.
Fair draws
Each result comes from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and is chosen before the spin starts. Every number gets the same slice. For bigger draws, try 1 to 100.
